Name: | Bridge over Taylors Lane, Trottiscliffe |
In Taylors Lane there is a late nineteenth century or early twentieth century bridge carrying an estate road over the lane. It was possibly a former carriage way.
The bridge is of segmented arched brick construction with pilastered abutments. The arch has red brick margins. It is constructed of concrete with the upper part faced in knapped flint with an ashlar stringcourse. The low parapet is in concrete with unusually high wrought iron railings on top. These have incised detailing on top. The keystone is in cast concrete with the relief illustration of a tree.
