Gravesend Library

From 12 April, Gravesend Library will open for bookshelf browsing, pre-booked computer and WiFi sessions. Meanwhile, we will continue to offer appointments for Select and Collect and reservation pickups, as well as PC and WiFi use. Please place your order from the Select and Collect page and a member of staff will contact you to arrange a suitable pick up date and time.

We regret all of our library events and activities including Storytime, Talk Time, Rhyme Time, Digital Dens and groups are suspended until further notice.

Any items on loan before the first lock-down have been extended until 31 May 2021. There are no fines when the library is closed.

Gravesend Library is housed in a restored Edwardian building (1905) with many original features and a completely new building adjoining it (added in 2011).
