Summary

A lifeboat house, located on the coast at Lydd-on-Sea, is visible on the Epoch 2, 3 and 4 (1899, 1908 and 1950) editions of the historic 1:2500 Ordnance Survey mapping. The structure was given a monument polygon during historic mapping enhancement as part of Phase 1 of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey.

A lifeboat house, located on the coast at Lydd-on-Sea, is visible on the Epoch 2, 3 and 4 (1899, 1908 and 1950) editions of the historic 1:2500 Ordnance Survey mapping [1-3]. The structure is no longer visible on MasterMap (2009) [4].
The structure was given a monument polygon (mapped from the Epoch 3 edition [2]) during historic mapping enhancement as part of Phase 1 of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey.
