Windmill first visible on the Ordnance Survey 1877 edition [1]. It was recorded as disused on the Ordnance Survey 1908 edition [2] and the area had been developed by the Ordnance Survey 1938 edition [3]. The site was not visible on OS MasterMap dating to 2009 [4].

The windmill is not shown on the OS drawing of 1797. It is first mapped on the Tithe Map of 1843(?) where it is shown as an apparent smock mill, with a structure around its base and a railed area above this around the tower. It is shown on the 1st and 2nd edition 25" OS mapping. It is marked as disused on the 3rd edition and appears to have been demolished by the time of the 4th editon mapping.
