Summary

A hard is marked on the 3rd edition Ordnance Survey map (1905-1922) by the mouth of Yantlett Creek. Identified during an assessment of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology in 2002. The remains included a stone embankment with jetty-like wooden stake remains, running in two rows, perpendicular to the outer edge.

Hard marked on the 3rd ed OS map (1). A stone embankment with jetty-like wooden stake remains running perpendicular to its outer edge, standing up to 0.6 m high, forrming two rows. About 6m x1.5 m, the stakes are about 0.5 m high, and 0.07m in diameter. (2)
