Remains of two unidentified vessels. Photographs (1,2) identified during 2002 survey. Site comprises two vessels; one is more coherent than the other, one of the end posts is visible along with the keels on and most of the frames but no outer planking. It is fastened with both iron and wooden treenails. The second is very dispersed with all timbers lying flat. It is fastened with iron and wooden fastenings (3). Seen in 2004. (4)

Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1961 Line 8: 6705 Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1967 Line 30: 1107 Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1985 Line 11: 0040 Method of Fix: Aerial Photograph Interpretation Photograph Number: KCC 1990 Line 10: 0014 One of two barges lying end to end outside the wharf area at Lower Halstow. They lie to the east of the entrance and form a curve which parallels the shore. Although on all the surveys the features of their structure are not clear in any photograph.
