The site of an unmanned Second World War roadblock constructed on All Saints' Road, Margate to protect the embankment of the Faversham - Ramsgate Harbour Railway in mid 1940 to counter the threat of German Invasion and recorded in the war diaries of 198 Infantry Brigade – Ref: WO166/1051. (1)
