The site of an unmanned Second World War roadblock constructed on Albert Road, Margate to protect the former Margate Station on the Ashford - Margate railway constructed in mid 1940 to counter the threat of German Invasion and recorded in the war diaries of 198 Infantry Brigade – Ref: WO166/1051.
