During the East Kent Access Route excavations (2009-2011)a late iron age enclosure formed by a variety of ditches and gullies were found alongside pits on the site of the earlier late bronze age D-shaped double-ditched enclosure in zone 14. Dating information was limited but some of the features contained small quantities of late iron age pottery. (information summarised from source)(1-2)
