The Canterbury UAD states that no details of this public house have been found as yet other than that it is shown on the 1st edition O.S. Map of 1873 and must predate that. It is listed in Kelly's Directory for 1949-50 as the Yew Tree Public House, but it is no longer listed in the Kelly's Directory of 1961.
