Summary

The building at Plumpton Lane was a 17th century or earlier barn. The timber-framed building was weather boarded on a red brick and rubble base with a plain tiled roof. The barn had three aisles and a staggered purlin roof. It was first Grade II listed on 16th February 1989.Consent was granted in 2012 for the conversion of the barn to offices. In December 2013 the barn was destroyed during high winds.
