[TR 33227048] Roman Remains found AD 1925 [NAT] (1) Roman graves, pottery and kitchen middens found 1925 at the junction of Edmanson Avenue with Royal Esplanade. (2,3) H Hurd was Broadstairs Boro. Engineer for many years but enquiries at Broadstairs, Margate Council Offices and Margate Public Library failed to produce further information on these burials.
