Ring ditch at TR 33956788. Probable enclosures at TR 33886804 and TR 33896786. (1) TR 340679. Located to the nearest fifty metres. Cropmarks of an enclosure. Isle of Thanet Archaeology Unit Site no. 118. on aerial photogrpahs CUCAP BIW 23-24 20-JUN-1972 (2)

Cropmarks of a large sub-circular macula of an infilled depression or pit can be seen at this location on aerial photographs -NMR 962/97 09-JUL-1976- . This was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The aerial photographs viewed for The RCHME Kent NMP aerial survey (CUCAP BIW 23-24 20-JUN-1972) also show a dark cropmark macula at this location, but no ring ditch (3).
