15th Century Farmhouse, described in detail by last resident (1950s). It was believed to be standing on an even older house. It had a tile hung upper storey with nine windows on the front elevation (facing west). A round pond with stone wall around it was a short distance in front of the house. To the south side was a wall and archway believed to be much earlier than the house itself. The house had a central doorway that opened on an entrance hall with drawing room and study to the left and dining room, kitchen and scullery to the right. The house had two chimney stacks and the scullery fireplace was large with an iron fireback and iron hook for hanging cooking pots. Upstairs there were 5 bedrooms although bedroom 3 connected off bedroom 1. The staircase was oak with large newel posts. (1)
