Description from record TQ 77 SE 126:
Concrete. Type 24, facing North. Good condition. (1)

This feature is recorded on the English Heritage report on the Hoo Peninsula Second World War Stop Line, part of the wider Hoo Peninsula study. The report states: "Second World War reinforced concrete Type 24 pillbox, constructed on the north edge of Lodge Hill Wood near the north side of Lodge Hill Royal Naval Armaments Depot. It was recorded on aerial photographs of 1944 and 1953 only but its current condition is unknown. The pillbox is recorded as being in good condition during the Defence of Britain project." (2)
