The Old Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse, formerly hall-house. Early C16 with c19 and early C20 elevations. Timber-framed with red brick ground-floor, tile-hung 1st floor. Plain tiled roof, more steeply pitched in centre, with the eaves lower at each side. Ridge stack to left and on flat-headed dormer. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration of 4 windows on 1st floor and 3 on ground-floor, casements. 2 small canted bay windows on ground-floor to left. 2 doors, each side of centre, with small weather-hoods. Wing to rear at right.

House of two medieval phases, the earlier of which is an upper-end crosswing of circa 1500 while the later is an early 16th century lower-end wing. Between the two is now a 17th century hall. (2)
