Description from record TQ 85 NE 5:
[TQ 88975948] Manor House [NR] (1) "Bexon [in Bredgar parish] is a remarkably fine timber house of the 15th to 17th centuries". (2) Bexon has the date 1617 on the gable. (3) Manor House, a private residence, is as described above, and is in an excellent state of preservation. See APs AO/62/228/6 from SE; /7 from WNW. (4) Bexon Manor house, Grade II*, Bexon. 15th c and altered in 1617. (For full description see list) (5) Additional bibliography. (6) Bexon Manor. An impressive and well-preserved timber-framed house. (7)

7/13 Bexon Manor 27.8.52 GV II*
Manor house. C15 and altered 1617. Timber framed, close-studded with middle rail, exposed with colour washed plaster infill. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with continuous jetty, the C15 left end bay with a dragon post. Hipped roof with gablet left and large barge-boarded gable offcentre dated: WE1617G with 3 light mullioned window. Stack to centre right. Irregular fenestration of wood mullioned oriel windows on first floor to right and in off-centre gable, and segmental bay windows to right and centre on ground floor. Plank and stud door to left in gabled and ornamented porch with balustraded open lights. The rear range much extended with re-used framing. c. 1954.
