St Augustine's Church, Snave. The simple form of the tower arch, chancel arch and arch to the north chapel suggest a C13th date for the church. The aisless nave, which is unusually wide, and probably of 15th century date opens into the chancel and chapel, which are again of this period. The west tower also dates to the 15th century. The external detail of the church is rather suspect, restored in 1873 by C.T. Whitley of Dover. (5)
