EDENBRIDGE STANFORD'S END Hartfield Road 53/394 Stanford's End (Formerly listed as Stanford's End Farmhouse, Stanford's End)
The address shall be EDENBRIDGE STANFORD'S END amended to read: Hartfield Road Stanford's End Farm
EDENBRIDGE STANFORD'S END 1. 5280 Hartfield Road Stanfords End (Formerly listed as stanford's End Farmhouse, Stanford's End) TQ 44 SE 53/394 lO.9.54. II GV 2. C15 hall house. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows. Very large hipped tiled roof with ridge stack. 2 later pent dormers. Tile hung lst floor. Exposed framing with plaster filling on ground floor, except for brick right bay. Coursed freestone plinth. Modern casements with small leaded panes. Low, projecting left extension. Part glazed panelled door under bracketed hood. Inside a 2-bay hall with large solar end and very small service end (or the reverse) can be deduced. Crown post truss remains in attic. Stanford's End, Stanford's End Farmhouse, Oast Group and barn form a group.
