[TQ 87495297] Iron Age Coin Found. [NAT] (1) A small British gold coin (Type A.5) and a denarius of the Aburia family were found in Harrietsham churchyard. (2) (3) An Upchurch urn, containing bones, and a red cinerary urn with two handles, were found in Harrietsham churchyard. Both are in Maidstone Museum. (4) A red goblet, a crystal ball and a radiate bronze fibula (All A.S. period) were found in Harrietsham churchyard and presented to Maidstone Museum by the Rev. J.C.B. Riddell. (5) All the A.S. finds and one R.B. urn are in store at Maidstone Museum. The vicar knows of no further finds. (6) Additional bibliography. (7-13)
