The moat surrounding Washenden is still complete. (2)

Washenden Manor House is 16/17th century. The moat is complete, waterfilled and in good condition. There is an entrance across the SE arm. Published 25" survey correct. (3)

TQ 864383. Washenden Manor, Biddenden, is listed in the county checklist of moated sites in Kent - December 1979. (4)
