[TQ 75977091] James's Forte ten guns. (1) James Battery (2). There are no visible remains of this fort (3). Additional index entries and relevant references in field reports (4,5). Site indicated on early chart (6) and for reference in context with other fortification sites see (7). Site photographs (8,9). Site of monument seen in 2004, although unable to gain close access. Likely that the battery site is still in use for military purposes. (13)
