2. Mid C19. 2 storeys stock brick. Hipped slate roof. 4 cambered double sashes to 1st floor. 4 round-headed sashes to the ground floor with keystones. Modillion cornice. Stringcourse. Royal cartouche above round-headed doorcase.
Nos 39 to 43 (odd), the Methodist Church and Kent House form a group. (Nos 39 to 43 (odd) are local interest buildings.

Mid C19, Grade II listed building. Located on N side of Spital St at junction with Kent Rd. Photographic record by CAT in Jan 1997 at which time the majority of C19 inturnal fittings survived. Now converted to offices (1).
