Description from record TR 15 NE 48:
(TR 15135776) Presby (NAT). (1) No 59 Burgate. The Presbytery. (Formerly listed as Roman Catholic Church of St Thomas of Canterbury). Grade II*. Probably timber- framed house refronted in C18. (2-3) Could be 16th century or earlier. (4)

No 59 (The Presbytery) (Formerly listed as Roman Catholic Church TR 1557 NW 5/30 of St Thomas of Canterbury) 5.12.49. II*
2. Probably timber-framed house refronted in C18. 3 storeys painted brick. Modillion cornice. 3:5:3 sashes with moulded wooden architraves. Ground floor has a 3 light canted bay. Overhang with reeded frieze. Central doorcase has a cornice with modillions and a triglyph frieze. 2 Rornan Doric three quarter columns with reeded capitals and 6 fielded panelled door. 1 step, Footscraper. Plinth. Modern extension in catching style to the left.
