Romano-British coins and two keys found by convicts during cultivation of a field on the western side of Borstal prison. The coins included a denarius of Claudius II struck in Gaul, one small brass of Carausius, one middle brass of Constantine the Great, three small brasses of the Constantine family, and six others too worn to be deciphered.

Roman coins found by convicts, during the cultivation of the field on the western side of Borstal prison, include a denarius of Claudius II struck in Gaul, one small brass of Carausius, one middle brass of Constantine the Great, three small brass of the Constantine family, and six others too worn to be deciphered. Two small Roman keys were also found. [These may be associated with the burials at TQ 7357 6603. See TQ 76 NW 21] (1-2)
