1. 5272 SMARDEN THE STREET (south side) Shop premises occupied by A T Palmer, Antiques, and the Pent House (formerly listed as Penthouse, The Bakery and Province House under High Street) TQ 8842 29/8 14.2.67.

2. Probably C15 double L-shaped timber-framed building, with plaster infilling and some close-studding. The whole of the ground floor rebuilt in brick, now painted, the first floor of the north wing weatherboarded. Hipped tiled roof. Casement windows. The first floor of the north wing is built out over the passage into the churchyard on uprights. Two storeys. five windows facing eat, 2 windows facing north.

Formerly TQ 84 SE 29 (1)
End jetty house with a formerly open 2-bay hall. The upper end was probvably formerly jettied and the lower end probably not. In the late 16th or early 17th century a small range was built beside the upper edn. At the same time another range was built behind the lower end. (2)
