Description from record TQ 93 SW 2:
[TQ 9419 3491.] All Saints' Church [NAT] (1) The Church of All Saints, Woodchurch. Most of the work is 13th c. but the outer walls of the aisles were largely rebuilt in this 14th and 15th c. (2) In normal use. (3) 5272 WOODCHURCH Parish Church of All Saints TQ 9434 22/544 16.8.62. I 2. A complete Early English church with some Perpendicular enlargements and fine interior fittings. Chancel with north and south chapels, nave with aisles, north porch with parvis above and west tower with broached spire, reshingled in 1954. The nave and tower are C13, the chapels and aisles are C15, the 2 storeyed north porch is C14 and the chancel is C13 remodelled in the 1840s. Four bay nave with crownpost roof. Double piscina and triple sedilia. Early C13 font. Restored by Ferrey 1858. East window by Kempe 1895. The churchyard contains some C18 headstones with skull, cherub or hourglass motifs and some oval bodystones. (4) All Saints, Woodchurch, a large, robust, and complete, Early English church, with a Perpendicular enlargement. The interior is beautiful. Full architectural description.
