Summary

A medieval post mill was formerly located some 180m west of St. Giles Church in Sarre. This mill is represented by a small, roughly circular, ditch enclosing a central cross-tree trench. Analysis of pottery fragments found in the ditch suggest that the postmill was in use during the 13th-14th centuries. A later post medieval mill is still present at the site.

Lying around 180m west of the church, the medieval postmill is represented by a small, roughly circular, ditch enclosing a central cross-tree trench. Analysis of pottery fragments found in the ditch suggest that the postmill was in use during the 13th-14th centuries. (32)
