A section of gully and pit both containing C1 pottery were found during construction of foundation and service trenches at a housing development site at Sandy Lane Bean. The rest of the site appeared to be devoid of archaeology although a significant amount had not been top soil stripped and had had an extra 1m depth of earth for garden plots. (1)
