Britannia Cement Works est c1880 by Macevoy and Holt. A single block of buildings in a triangle of land between Stonebridge Road and Lower Road, west of Northfleet, connected by tramways under Stonebridge Road to chalk pits at the foot of Galley Hill. Closed and demolished by 1939. It has been completely cleared and redeveloped. (1). Site photograph (2-4).
