Two large concrete blocks located on either side of the railway line into Chatham Dockyard. These were used in conjunction with a steel girder spanning the gap between them as a block to attempts by the enemy to use the railway system. A rare monument in an urban environment.

Two large concrete cubes either side of the railway line into Chatham Dockyard, recessed to receive a transverse iron girder as an obstacle to enemy trying to use the railway. Unusual feature in an urban environment. (1)
