The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5273 PETHAM HARDRES COURT ROAD Street End Petham
The Old Farmhouse TR 15 SW 12/544 30.1.67

2. L-shaped timber-framed building of 2 storeys. C17 or earlier, now faced with red brick on ground floor and plaster above, the east wing probably added on a base of flints. Hipped tiled roof. Casement windows with small square leaded panes. Three windows facing west, 2 windows facing north. Simple doorcase.

Four bay late medieval house with two bay open hall with evidence for a crown post above the south west partition. Evidence of a jetty at the south west end. (2)
