The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5273 WESTBERE WESTBERE LANE (south side)

2. The easternmost part is probably Cl5. Timber-framed building with plaster infilling. Diagonal braces on the ground floor, the first floor of the easternmost window bay oversailing on the protruding ends of the floor joists. Moulded Dragon post. Hipped tiled roof 2 storeys. Three casement windows. Original arched wooden doorcase on right hand side with blank spandrels. The east front is faced with plaster on the ground floor and with tarred weatherboarding above.

Formerly an open low 2-bay hall and higher upper-end cross wing of a medieval house. The cross wing is a 2-bay 2-storey wing jettied on three sides. (2)
