The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EAST SUTTON FRIDAY STREET TQ 84 NW (east side) 5/80 Hecton Farmhouse II
Farmhouse, formerly cottages, now house. C16 or earlier with C19 facade. Timber framed. Ground floor red brick in Flemish bond, first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Roof hipped with gablets. Slender projecting brick end stacks. Brick stack in front slope of roof off-centre to left. Irregular fenestration of 4 casements; three 3-light, and one 2-light under stack. Half-glazed door beneath and slightly to left of stack. Blocked door towards centre. Short 2-storey rear wing to left. Interior not inspected.
