TQ 6695 6617 St. Peter and St. Paul's Church [T.U.] (1) This is 13th c. and later (1866-8). (2) In normal use. (3) TQ 66 NE LUDDESDOWN LUDDESDOWN ROAD 5/58 21.11.66 Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul II* C13 but all rebuilt or re-cased in 1866 by R P Pope except west tower. Flint and stone. Tufa for quoins of tower. Cotswold stone for C19 work. Comprises chancel nave, south aisle, tower, porches and vestry. Interior has 2 bay arcade C13, south aisle and chancel arch rebuilt. Furnishing all C19 with wall paintings all over by Heaton. (4) Additional bibliography. (5)
