Vertical Datum: LAT Orientation: 100280 28-SEP-1973 Remains of a vessel, possibly a barge, exposed at HW. Shown on airphotos 0085-0087. Roughly 20-30m long. Lies very close to HW mark near ruined jetty. (1). Site identified during 2002 survey and comprises barge lying against south side of wharf. much internal structure survives including probable cargo of bricks and is lying heavily on her port side. The fastenings are comprised of large iron bolts with screw threads and square iron nails. There are occasional square copper nails within the fabric of the vessel (2).
