Cropmark of a small ring ditch, Monkton, one of a line of three possible Bronze Age or early medieval round barrows mapped from aerial photographs: NMR 1671/36 06-AUG-1979 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. These three barrows are recorded separately, but lie within the area of a Scheduled Jutish cemetery.(5)
