There has been growth to the south-west of the village to the ward boundary of Grange Road,with new road layouts and housing. To the east and north there is extensive streets of terrace houses to the boundary with Sir Moses Montefiore Ward, as shown on the 1st (1862-1875)ed OS map (2)
