Extent of Cliffsend village as visible on the OS drawings 1797. The village was clustered around the junction of Foads Lane and Cottington Road. (1)
There was little growth of the village by the Tithe maps 1837-1858, 1st ed (1862-1875), 2nd ed (1897-1900) and 3rd ed (1906-1923). (2-5)
