A revetted slit trench forming part of a Defended Locality of Second World War date was visible as an earthwork in US/7PH/GP/LOC295 V 5006 20-APR-1944. The revetment is on either side of the trench. The feature was recorded as a levelled earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It was part of the St Nicholas at Wade Defended Area established during 1940-41. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
