A slit trench forming part of a defended locality of Second World War date was visible as an earthwork on US/7PH/GP/LOC295 5006 20-APR-1944. It is located just inside the north-east corner of an orchard. The slit trench were recorded as a levelled earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
