A water channel formed of two linear embankments of medieval/post-medieval date was visible as an earthwork on OS/94013 V 57 10-MAR-1994. The features were recorded as levelled earthworks on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. The embankments are aligned to the 'Old Channel' shown on historical Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series mapping, but are not themselves depicted by the Ordnance Survey. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-3)
