A drainage ditch of medieval/post-medieval date is visible as an earthwork on RAF/106G/UK/1131 RS 4026 17-JAN-1946. It was recorded as a levelled earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. The small two-sided rectilinear feature was not recorded on historical Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series mapping. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024.
