A drainage ditch and flood defence banks of medieval/post medieval date were visible as cropmarks in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 25-MAY-2012 and vertical aerial imagery OS/95017 V 179 10-MAR-1995. The features are not recorded on historical Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series maps. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-3)
