A slit trench of probable First World War date was visible as an earthwork in US/7PH/GP/LOC286 V 5008 19-APR-1944. The feature is a levelled earthwork on LIDAR Environment Agency DTM 07-DEC-2017. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
