A flood defence of Medieval/post Medieval date was visible as an earthwork in LIDAR Environment Agency DSM 07-DEC-2017. The feature is later visible as an earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. It comprises a bank measuring approximately 184m long and was not mapped on the first edition Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 County Series map. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-3)
