Site of Home for Motherless Girls(latterly St Mildreds Home), Upper Grove, Margate as shown on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Edition O/S maps and the Margate town map 3. The building has since been demolished and is not shown on the current O/S map. St Mildreds Home was a branch house of the Kent Penitentiary and in 1891 and 1901 there were 14 adult inmates.
