A substantial mill mound survives, visible on aerial photographs and OS mapping. It predates the OS 1st edition of 1862-1875 as it was already out of use by the time the 1st edition was completed in this area. (1)

A list of windmills and former windmills in Kent on Wikipedia indicates that the mill was a post mill form milling corn, and that it was first mentioned in 1596 and last mentiined in 1736. (2)
