Summary

Groundworks and extensions to drainage ditches were observed by archaeologists at St Mary's in Westwell. During these works, several burials were uncovered, despite test-pitting not suggessting any nearby. The soil also contained disarticulated human bones. These burials were removed and reburied at a later date.
