Summary

A late Bronze Age settlement consisting of four enclosures, three curved, one over 100m in diameter, and one rectangular. The last enclosure contained pit/posthole features which possibly represent three structures. To the north-east is a cremation cemetery possibly associated. The site excavated extends over 400 m (north-south) and 140 m (east-west), and probably beyond.

A late Bronze Age settlement consisting of four enclosures, three curved, one over 100m in diameter. The last enclosure contained pit/posthole features which possibly represent three structures. To the north-east is a cremation cemetery possibly associated. The site excavated extends over 400 m (north-south) and 140 m (east-west), and probably beyond. (1-4)

An evaluation of the Phase 2 area of the development in 2005 found the continuing circuit of the large circular enclosure, suggesting that it is likely to be c.125m in diameter. (5)
